When the lotus blooms: Political Scenario in India under BJP

The Rise Of BJP as a stronger Political party is about to shape the future of our country. Let us have a look on BJP’s Journey in the Last few years.

When we look back to the golden past of our country, the now known largest democracy, we will see the rise and fall of many political parties including BJP. At the dawn of 1980’s a new political party with new reforms, ideas as, as well as policies, into action- The BJP. India anticipated a new change, a better future, with the new beginning. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strengthened the backbone of India with its multiple contributions of strong leaders including our honorable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Let us go back to the story of BJP, its leaders and, reforms in our India.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a strong leader and visionary from BJP served India as one of the most powerful Prime Ministers. It was a time when India’s scientific as well as nuclear glories touched its peak. The five ground nuclear test at Pokhran in 1998 is a paradigm of this. The negotiating peace treaty with Pakistan and other reforms all set India apart as strong nation.

And Now…

The year 2014 set a new rise for BJP in India, a new leader, a new visionary and a new hope- the 14th Prime Minister of India, honorable Narendra Modi. Flagging 3 years of successful administration and still counting.

The Hope

The governance of Narendra Modi stirred up the political scenario in India. Quick actions for a future better India.

On 8th November 2016, people of India were in a complete shock, ‘Demonetization’- what does that even mean? Nobody knew what’s happening except that the 1000Rs and 500Rs currencies value no more than papers. People were in a complete trauma, especially, the common working man. Though new currencies of 2000 and 500 were announced, the common man could find only empty ATMs and Overcrowded banks. There was a complete delay in all financial systems including pensions, questioning the survival of many poor. Meanwhile, the results sounds amazing, a country with no more black-marks of corruption.

Then came, the GST. As a matter of fact, a lot of new words were added to the vocabulary of a common citizen. On 1st July 2017, the ground breaking idea of indirect taxes-GST came to effect.  People feared a sudden change but were peaceful.

The reforms of Modi government were both stressing and inspiring. Swachh Bharat mission and Digital India mission were incredibly motivational for youth. People feared the uprising of Hindu groups with BJP. Though some particular groups illegally started to take more power, the government undertook actions supporting common man and almost completely removed those shades of fear. At some point, though people were restricted from eating certain favorite foods, claiming over one’s constitutional fundamental rights, these were not a complete reform by the government.

We, as the citizens of this country, have open platforms of expression. Though recent cases, including claims against government’s action faced some negative feedback, this government has a great vision for a better India. As quoted by Mahatma Gandhi ‘The future depends on what you do today’. India still anticipates for strong leaders with vision and deeds. So, do you think the reforms by BJP will help create a better stronger India? Think clearly and Act truly. Jai Hind.
