Detachment: The First Step To A Happy Life

The skill of detachment can be learned through various experiences, both good and bad. The obsessive attachment is a state of mind where you become so attached to anything that may be living and non-living which restricts you from having a blissful life.
To live with joy you need to be free, no matter what happens, never let go of this freedom. For example just like you defecate in the morning and detach yourself from your own creation. Similarly, don’t forget to detach yourself from all negatives in your mind before you hit your bed.
How to detach?
One of the best ways to become detached in life is to forgive and forget.

Forgive each and every person who caused you pain, resentment, and discomfort. You never know if you or the person will able to see the sun next day. Why carry this burden and live the past forever. When you choose to forgive those who have hurt you, you take away their powers and life become easier.

Forget anyone or anything that has given you extreme happiness and sadness. Instead, remember the good times and just move on. Detach yourself graciously and live in the present moments of glory.
By letting it go, it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. When you try and try, the world is beyond winning.

If you are in search of love, the best chance of finding it goes with the flow and take the hints from the universe, have peace within and simply identify and receive the abundance of opportunities that thy presents you.
If you are having the fear that you will not receive what you want or you are afraid of losing what you have, then you have attachments. To remove detachments which restricts you, free yourself into a state of appreciation and gratitude towards what you have at present. The fear, the strings of negativity will be automatically thrown out of your mind in few moments.
The sensation of being free is the most lovely essence of “life management”. Keep your life lucid, simple and detached, cultivate child-like passion; explore new things in life. Experience the moments that are so unique to your own life and above all elevate yourself towards the higher consciousness of love, kindness, and serenity.
Mahatma Gandhi said, “the man who observes self-control in thoughts, words, and deeds right in midst of the world is verily the true ascetic”. If things do not limit us and if we are not attached to things even when they are easily available to us that is the greatest test of our detachment rather than living in the lonely and deadly forest. The one who would be serene and pure needs only one thing to live the life to the fullest that is detachment.
Be like a bird, keep flying high and never get attached to a tree so much that it clings to your own existence. The bird’s real purpose is to fly…… fly high.
